Warrington Safeguarding Partnership (WSP) is made up of five main groups. These groups will meet regularly and report into each other to create a cycle of learning and improvement. Where challenges and barriers are found, they will develop ‘task and finish’ groups to take forward projects.
Each agency and sector involved will be responsible for ensuring that the voice of their service user is at the heart in each group.
- Strategic Group
The Strategic group is made up of senior leaders from partner services. This group is responsible for ensuring all agencies work together to meet the needs of families and children.
- Chairs Group
The Chairs group is made up of the chairs of different WSP groups, this enables them to collaborate, discuss and address issues and be sighted on work happening in each group.
- Quality Assurance
The Quality Assurance group Includes senior managers from partner agencies to share intelligence and monitor safeguarding activity and practices, leads on audit work and makes recommendations for improvement when needed.
- Impact Group
The Impact group leads on practice issues, sharing good practice and learning across the multi-agency partnership. It leads on the development of multi-agency procedures and training.
- Practitioners Forum
The Practitioners Forum is made up of frontline teams; sharing their experiences and offering feedback on changes and proposals. This group will challenge and support the partnership to implement change. This forum will have a fluid membership, open to all in the area. If you wish to get involved please email the Partnership Team for further information or call 01925 443126.
