Welcome to Warrington’s Safeguarding Adults Board (WSAB)

WSAB is responsible for protecting and promoting an adult’s right to live an independent life, in safety, free from abuse and neglect in Warrington.

Safeguarding involves working together to support people to make decisions about the risks they face in their own lives, and protecting those who lack the capacity to make these decisions.

Whether as a carer or family member, a friend or neighbour, an employer, or as a paid or volunteer worker we all have a role to play in ensuring adults are safe from abuse and neglect.   This website provides everyone with useful information and resources to be able to Safeguard Adults in our community.
